Name: Ermokvr
Alias: Joseph J. Marshall, codename: Glassblower
Age: unknown, appears to be in his early to mid 30s
Gender: Male
Date of Birth: First documented on February 13th, 1612
Place of Birth: First documented in a converted church in Venice, Italy
Species: Classified as Demon
Appearance: Joseph Jan Marshall is somewhere between 5'10 and 6 feet tall, with an average build that somehow looks bigger than it is. He has hair somewhere between dark blonde and rust brown that is parted to one side, though the side of the part is inconsistent depending on who is viewing it at what time, as some have reported the part in his hair changing sides when they blink, look away, or just stop paying attention to it. Joseph appears to be Caucasian, but his skin is pale and often described as waxy. He has sunken, beady eyes and a heavy brow casts a shadow over them, and a nose that appears crooked and off center, though it isn't. The shadow over Joseph Marshall's eyes always seems darker than it should, regardless of light level. Flash photography and lights specifically cast on his face reveal he has grey, almost white irises.
Personality: Joseph Marshall is patient, polite, and measured. He tries not to step on anyone's toes, and keeps calm under pressure. He's an enjoyer of luxury and comfort, always preferring the finer things in life but happy to settle for more humble fare if offered. While he's quick to share his indulgences with others, he would never force a vice on them or encourage self destructive activities in others. In truth, Mr. Marshall always seems to be waiting for something but never in a rush for it to arrive, enjoying whatever situation is at hand with a degree of aloof amusement.
The entity codenamed Glassblower is a quiet, confident sadist. It will pursue its goal at a slow but steady pace, but will gladly devote its time and resources to any obstacles or diversions put in its way. If put in a disadvantageous situation, it is more likely to withdraw than further pursue its goal, and rarely shows any displeasure with failure to complete a task outside of instances where it is forced to flee from combat or severely wounded.
Ermokvr enjoys this world, its intricacies and experiences, were it not for his duty he would remain here forever. However, patience is a virtue his timeless masters have in abundance, and he smugly feels as though he's playing them, dressed up as Joseph Marshall and reveling in this world's pleasures rather than advancing their agenda.
Face Claim Patrick Bateman (Christian Bale)
Special Abilities:
Glassblower can disguise itself as a human, hiding its true nature in bends and folds of space imperceptible to most forms of detection. The form the entity can take requires time, concentration, and care to craft, rushed or lazily constructed disguises appearing crude and inhuman in comparison. While this means that Glassblower can potentially disappear from all records by adopting a new face, it means that it must put considerable effort into doing so and trying to forge a new identity to go along with it. No matter what, any new form the entity takes will have unusually heavy shadows obscuring their eyes.
The true form of Joseph Marshall is a form of otherworldly glass that shifts from animate obsidian, a living glass able to transition between solid and liquid at will and to grow and shrink itself with seemingly little regard for the conservation of mass. While not immune to physical damage, Glassblower's composition makes it abnormally resilient, and it can recover from minor structural damage with little effort. Glassblower is capable of aligning the edges of his obsidian body to form razor sharp blades, detach and launch shards and blades as projectiles, or reflect and refract lights to dazzle and blind opponents. It is very quick and can pass through any opening a liquid can, though extruding itself through especially narrow holes slows it down.
Weaknesses:
Glassblower cannot withstand massive kinetic forces, such as explosive ordinance or heavy saturation with high caliber rounds. Attacks that are able to cause massive damage immediately or that can outpace its regeneration can lead to its incapacitation or withdrawal.
Extreme temperatures have an adverse effect on Glassblower's form. Exposure to liquid nitrogen temporarily halted the entity's shapeshifting and regeneration, leaving it sluggish and more susceptible to damage. Alternatively temperatures in excess of 750 degrees Celsius cause the entity considerable discomfort and prevent it from taking a rigid form, making it far less durable as well.
During the events of the 31st of December, 2006, Glassblower suffered an anomalous wound. Exposure to a supernatural energy caused considerable "scarring" on its body. Eyewitnesses described the body of Glassblower to be "smoldering like burning paper" and reported glowing cracks that it could not regenerate covering a large portion of its body.
Anomalous weaponry is being considered, but has not been approved for use in the field.
Weapons:
Joseph Marshall possesses a familiarity, but no noteworthy skill, with all forms of modern and archaic weaponry. He sometimes carries a taser for personal defense.
History
The Entity codenamed Glassblower was first documented in the late middle ages, in Venice, Italy. In the written account of a friar, a "Heretical Magician" commanded the stained glass windows of a church to come to life and assault a mob of peasants. The church was originally an old fort believed to date back to the Roman empire, and that it had been built on a site worshipped by ancient pagans and used in their ancient and mysterious rituals.
Investigation of the area in modern times confirms that the converted church was built on an ancient ritual ground, and that there were signs of inter-reality travel dating back as far as 900 BC.
The friar survived the rampage of this "stained-glass demon" by cutting loose a chandelier, dropping it on the magician and killing him. According to the written accounts, the demon ceased its attack and fled into the night the instant the chandelier had struck its summoner.
The next listed siting was in 1651, in Poland during the Khmelnytsky Uprising. Numerous accounts describe a "Glass-water demon" that fought on both sides of the conflict, though was thought "Slain" when struck down by the Tatar Mirza, Tugay Bey.
In the year 1789, Glassblower resurfaced again in France, when an aristocrat was outed as being "an unnatural being of glass blades" during the French Revolution. Glassblower was again thought dead when "by roar of cannons it was smote into uncountable pieces."
Glassblower does not resurface again until the first world war, when a German officer consistently showed up in photographs with eyes cast in shadow despite the light around him. A French woman with similar eyes shows up during the second world war in numerous photographs of Paris, during the occupation.
Sightings and documented footage is sparse for several decades after this, though Glassblower sits on numerous watchlists as a high priority entity. The next and most recent siting is in Istanbul, Turkey, on the 31st of December, 2006. It is believed Glassblower was looking for the UNAUTHORIZED CLEARANCE, INFORMATION REDACTED located in the city. During the day and into the night, Glassblower engaged with agents sent to the city as well as other anomalous and supernatural entities. Task Force Narcissus was able to prevent REDACTED and the entity identified as Glaurung loosed its Breath upon Glassblower, causing it to suffer wounds unlike anything ever recorded on it before and causing its immediate withdrawal.
Glassblower is to be presumed alive and under a new identity, any activity relating to its capabilities or visual tells are to be investigated.
